After many years, I decided to create my blog with the main objective of providing a guide on some challenges I have encountered in my work and how I resolved them. Additionally, I aim to share my interests, such as GNU/Linux, web development, photography, video games, music, movies, etc. The blog serves not only as a personal reference but also as a resource for others facing similar issues, eliminating the need to search extensively for solutions.
The blog’s design draws inspiration from one of my daily-use tools for slightly over a year: Brackets. This tool, combined with the Foundation front-end framework for the template, forms the basis of the blog. The entire platform is built on the exceptional CMS/CMF ProcessWire, which I’ve been using for over a year and have employed in several projects. I plan to continue using it for a good while, unless I find something better or boredom sets in. While the blog is not completely finished, it is 95% functional. As time passes, I will refine its operation by removing or adding features as needed. Nevertheless, it was essential to initiate the blog instead of continually postponing its launch.
Regarding the advertisements displayed on the sides and at the top of the site—something many dislike, myself included—they serve the purpose of generating funds for various activities. These activities include giving away games, digital books, etc., to add variety and reciprocate to those who take the time to visit and read the blog.
